The Anwell Veterinary Centre was established as a Surrey veterinary practice over 50 years ago. The original owner, Mr David Brockis, retired in 1988 and the practice was purchased by two vets who both also had practices elsewhere.
The Anwell Vets in Croydon was then taken over by Greg and Mel Hocking in December 1998. Since then it has grown from strength to strength, expanding with a new branch which opened in Caterham, Surrey in August 2015. We currently have two full time veterinary surgeons, four receptionists, a practice manager, four qualified veterinary nurses and three trainee nurses.

We are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, which means that we have regular inspections of our premises, facilities and protocols which helps ensure we are always providing the highest standard of veterinary care to your pets.
Our vets in Croydon is located on the Brighton Road between Coulsdon and Purley in Surrey. Our vets in Caterham is located at Freer Farm Kennels off the A22 in Godstone, Surrey.
